The heavy rain at Randwick Racecourse overnight has led to a large number of scratchings for today’s Doncaster Mile Day.
The track conditions are currently specified as a Heavy 8, with the rain expected to continue throughout the day.
There have been a total of three scratchings from the three major Group 1 races of the day.
#10 Beccera has been scratched from the AJC Australian Oaks, #2 Eagle Falls has been scratched from The Galaxy and #12 Palacio De Cristal is the only withdrawal from the Doncaster Mile.
